Magnolia Blue and Gold

We took Magnolia to her first Notre Dame football game this past weekend against Purdue and she was a good luck charm for the Irish, bringing one of their most dominating victories (and best second halfs) of the Charlie Weis era. We were surprised when we arrived and found out that our seats were ON THE FIELD. We were in the 3rd row behind the end zone!! It was incredible and Magnolia was a trooper....she lasted through the whole game. Her favorite part was the band playing (and of course, the Irish winning!)

Looking confident before the big game

These girls were attracting so much attention on the sidelines, they got asked to join the cheerleading squad

Grabbin' some turf

"Did you guys hear that Magnolia is here? We better step it up."

On the field

"Go Boilers? Who said that?"

After the big victory....Go Irish!

She's a Foodie

Magnolia has been feeding herself a lot more lately. She's been doing pretty well at it. One of her favorites has been blueberries. That is, except for those sour ones:

Here is an action sequence (she'll thank me for this post when she's older.........)

"Hey, blueberries......."

"So many to choose from...."

"Ooh, this looks like a good one."

"Yep, I think I picked a winner."

"Ohhhhhhhhh, sooouuurrrr."

"Why didn't you guys warn me?"

"Awwww, super sour."

"No more blueberries for me."

Grandpa Cory also got some video of Magnolia chowing down on some corn (ON the cob):
