We're mobile!

Well, all of our worst fears......er, wildest dreams....have come true. Magnolia has started to crawl around. For a few days, if she saw something that she wanted, she would get on all fours and raise her body up, then fall forward towards the goal. After a few rises and falls, she eventually got there. Now, she has figured out how to drag her body along with her arms and she is ALL OVER THE PLACE. She hasn't quite coordinated the knees yet, so for now, it's more of an army crawl than anything else.

She also pulled herself up on her piano the other day. She was sitting at the piano, playing it, then the next thing we knew, we turned around and she was standing up. I guess she's got some Jerry Lee Lewis in her..........

We had a bridal shower for Aunt Brooke at our house last weekend. Magnolia was, of course, a gracious hostess. Except for some reason she had it out for Mimi.

Don't worry, Mimi recovered eventually. We went into Chicago on Father's Day to visit Uncle Tyler at his apartment in Chicago (where he has an internship this summer). It was my first Father's Day and let me tell you, Magnolia really spoiled me!
