The Big "1"

Miss Magnolia turned one year old last week (on the 22nd)!!! Thank you so much to everyone who has given her gifts and cards....she appreciates them all. She is getting so big (as you can see in the pictures) and she's getting really close to walking and talking. We have a feeling that once she starts, she's not going to stop - walking OR talking! We had a small birthday celebration for her with some family on Saturday.....she loved entertaining - and all of the attention (rounds of applause every time she stood up on her own or unwrapped a gift)!

We were hoping that she would tear into the cake and smear it everywhere. Unfortunately, when it comes to neatness, she is much more like her Mom than her Dad. Actually, we are fortunate for that.....very fortunate. She got some cake on her foot before she started eating and she wasn't a fan.
