"3 weeks since the last post Dad? That makes me sad."
"OK, better now. Just don't let it happen again."
Things have been going well....Dan is busy with school and work. Jenica is busy with Miss Magnolia. She is going to be turning 4 months tomorrow! It's unbelievable how fast these 4 months have gone by. She is getting so big (weight and length-wise). We'll find out next week exactly how big she is now!
Magnolia went to the hospital to visit her Mimi (Mary) a couple of times last week. She had surgery last Saturday and is still in the recovery process., so please keep her in your prayers!
Magnolia is grasping her toys really well at this point and talking (cooing) a lot. The giggles are starting to pop up more often (especially for Mom) and the smiles (as always) continue to flow!
Magnolia's absolute favorite thing at this point is music. As soon as she hears any kind of tune, she locks in on it and smiles. She likes it when her Dad sings to her in a high-pitched voice (which her Dad likes to do anyway, but that's between you and me, so don't tell anyone!). The other day, we watched a DVD of the Johnny Cash Show and afterward Dad was singing the song "Jackson" by Johnny and June Carter Cash to her. She got a huge smile on her face and started belting out one coo after another. I'm pretty sure she was trying to sing June's part of the duet. :)

how funny you are... She is cute even when she crys!
I protest! Magnolia is always smiling at me, but first you show her bored into a deep sleep by one of my stories, then you show her crying while I'm holding her!
